Jacob

Architect

Jacob Wilhelm:

Jacob has been practicing architecture in Colorado since 2017, bringing an appreciation for both natural and urban contexts to the spaces people live and work. His professional experience ranges from expansive housing masterplans to international luxury resort developments. Solving the economic and livability concerns of mountain and remote regions has been central to every project he has directed the design of.

Beyond professional practice, he has published independently and for NCARB on the topics of post-occupancy evaluation, building performance, and wellness within the built environment. Most recently, this includes Adaptive Architecture: Changing Parameters and Practice (Routledge 2018) and Architecture and Health: Guiding Principles for Practice (Routledge 2019). Both as an individual and working collaboratively with other disciplines, he has been awarded in design competitions sponsored by Arizona Residential Architects, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Arizona State University, and more. He is committed to expanding architectural discourse through interdisciplinary thinking, research, and theory, specifically around local vernaculars and future trends.
