Born and raised in Kansas City, Dylan found his love of architecture through the local works of el dorado, SOM and Steven Holl. This passion for building transpired throughout high school, where he participated in numerous carpentry and architecture courses, which directed his interests towards design as he entered college. While at Kansas State, Dylan explored many realms of architecture, including sustainable, urban, and fabrication design, as well as design-build. He not only loves the schematic phase of design, but also exploring building details and connections. Through his knowledge of construction, and experience in wood and metal shops, Dylan is both technical and design-oriented.
As a recent graduate from Kansas State University, Dylan believes that architecture and design can shape lives through the use of form, materials, and systems. He has a strong eye for aesthetics and designs for the human scale. For Dylan, architecture is more than just buildings; it’s about experiences and creating an environment that promotes sustainability and fostering relationships.
