As a designer, Jason explores problems in an open-ended, collaborative process of iterative refinement in which seemingly conflicting ideas meld to produce exciting solutions. While building on experience in university, healthcare, athletic, and civic project types, Jason remains active in the academic realm of the profession, having been a guest critic at Kansas State University and the University of Kansas and is especially interested in how emerging digital technologies can be utilized in the field of architecture. He continues to learn through travel, by observing and documenting with sketching and photography, how people interact with the built environment, be it at the scale of a city plaza or a door handle.
