studio leader | architect
Lauren’s interest in collaborative and multidisciplinary design processes has led her to work in a range of office typologies including architecture, engineering, and lighting design. These professional experiences have helped her communicate with the larger design team to deliver well coordinated and detailed projects. Her professional experience ranges from a 1.1 million sf Cultural Center in Saudi Arabia to a 1,200 sf house in New Orleans.
Lauren's interest in the built environment is anchored in a project’s potential to influence and connect with its larger cultural context. Her interest in landscape design strategies as a driver for understanding contextual relationships has led her to focus both design projects and research on topics of landscape and connectivity. Viewing unique urban conditions as inspirational moments for creative expression, Lauren enjoys exploring her environment for sites that call for urban interventions.
