HomeAdvisor
When HomeAdvisor sought to move their corporate headquarters from Golden to Denver, they wanted a space that aligned with their employee-focused company values as well as the industrial and artistic character of their new RiNo neighborhood. The result is a playful working atmosphere that gives this rapidly-growing company the flexibility to use their space creatively.
Private offices are centralized, with open workstations laid out around the perimeter, allowing everyone access to daylight and the versatility to densify or rearrange the space. A game room doubles as a large gathering and presentation space, connected to lower floors via a spiral slide. The central hearth and 2-story fireplace provides a cozy, coffee shop-inspired alternative to working at a desk.
Conference rooms are far from traditional: each one is themed and thoughtfully curated based on different rooms of a home. The use of unique wallcoverings, color schemes, lighting, furniture, and accessories became an effective tool to define each setting. From the Conservatory to Grandma’s Attic, each was coordinated closely to contrast each other. Hiding behind a rotating bookshelf, there is even a secret room for secluded work. By sprinkling in unexpected spaces like this around a more typical office floorplate, the client’s company identity was able to be expressed in a unique, budget-conscious way.
